Hi I’m Cheryl, welcome to Tin Can Social! Built with love and patience from the ground up, Tin Can Social is a vintage inspired trailer named Trixie, after a character in a cartoon I loved as a kid. While I was growing up in the Bay Area during the 70’s and 80’s, I learned at an early age that wanderlust flows through me. I loved camping as a kid, although we never had a trailer like this, every time I see one there is a feeling of nostalgia that rushes over me. I just knew I would have one of my own someday! Discover vintage treasures and handcrafted repurposed jewelry, accessories and home decor inside Trixie!

Whether you are an event planner, wedding stylist, bride, groom, winery, brewery, business owner, or an individual having a party; renting Tin Can Social will provide a MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE and will leave a long lasting impression on you and your guests. She would also make a great DESSERT BAR or PHOTO BOOTH for your party! Creating a custom mobile bar for events in a vintage inspired trailer in beautiful Napa Valley seemed to be the perfect idea for my next adventure.

Higinio's R&R Creations

A veritable candy store of one-of-a-kind, whimsical art works re-fashioned from what we might discard as “scrap.”

A cook by profession, Hernandez’ life took an expected turn when a horrific car accident occurred. He and his wife were hit by a driver coming down the wrong side of Hagen Road. While his wife escaped serious injuries, Hernandez suffered broken ribs, cracked toes, bruising on his liver, heart and lungs plus the inability to move his hands.

Devastated, Hernandez eventually sought help from a psychologist who encouraged him to use his creative hobby to heal and earn money for the family coffers. While his left wrist remains dislocated, Hernandez’ impressive output of delightfully charming, utilitarian artworks exude positivity and ingenuity.

When it comes to my clothes, I cater mostly to men.  I have a huge selection of vintage men's clothes including: western shirts; disco and velour shirts; and Hawaiian shirts.  You can browse my racks and tables and find a 30 year old bright orange Hawaiian shirt or a pair of green 115 year old utilitarian glazed Chinese jugs.  I have collected and now am selling cool, one of a kind pieces.  Buy one of my shirts and you will be the only one wearing it.  Pick up a rare item for your coffee table and your friends will not only gasp outloud, they will be jealous that you bought it first from my collection.

Birch: Handcrafted Wearables

Founded by "a hobby gone wild" birch is a one-woman project based out of Turlock in Central California. As the grand-daughter of a demolition worker, the daughter of an ex-construction worker, and part of a family lavender farm, she has constantly been challenged to use what is readily available. Rooted in an agriculture based location and background, what many would consider scrap is a viewed as a blank canvas. Many of birches products are produced via re-purposed steel, brass and copper but also newly minted gold and silver. Birch is about bringing back the lost art form of hand-crafted products within the world of cookie-cutter mass production. Each piece is made to be loved like a gem; a unique item all of its own. With an affinity for the unique and unusual, birch enjoys creating custom pieces for the everyday woman.  www.birch-handcrafted-wearables.com

Kelly Stricker - Napa Author

A sexy love story filled with romance, suspense and surprises.
A young woman is tossed from her horse in a mysterious accident in the Arizona desert. She wakes from a coma to a world of loss: her parents and beloved uncle are dead, and her memories surrounding the accident are wiped clean. As she sets up a new life in California, managing her late uncle's art gallery with her childhood friend, she attempts to fill in the blanks: what happened on the horse that night? Who was she riding toward? Why does heartbreak flood her dreams, and an emptiness occupy her days? She won't know the answers, until their eyes meet.

Fired Up Hose Co.

Brings you red hot home decor and accessories made from fire hoses. It doesn't get much hotter than that! Fire Hoses save lives and we are trying to do our small part by up-cycling to keep them out of landfills.

It's my passion, being a firefighter for the past 10 yrs. I realized all the decommissioned hoses that can't be used due to holes and fire damage get thrown away.   The material is so sturdy I thought there has to be a use for it!   So that's where it all began ... I found an old German Phaff commercial  industrial sewing machine and just started putting things together with A Lot of trial and error!
