From Belle: My father was diagnosed with cancer on January 4, 2016. He has a rare form of cancer called bile duct cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma), only 2000 diagnosis a year. My dad will be having surgeries for the next few weeks to try to battle this disease. Although the outcome is still unclear due to the rare form, we are staying hopeful knowing how strong my dad is. Due to my dad being ill for a while now, he has not been able to work for months. I want this to be as completely comfortable as possible for him. I want him to be able to pay off the medical bills and not have to second guess getting the help he needs. Having the funds for him to live comfortably will put his mind at ease so he can battle what is most important, cancer.
With your help I can make this possible for him. I want to support him the way he has supported me. I want to do anything and everything I can to help him get through this because I know he can. We all know he can.
I am so thankful for the outpouring love and support that I have received these past few weeks. In the words of my father, "I'm ready to kick cancers butt ."
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
